R.M., good to know! Staples and other big box office supply stores have been stocking more and more cool looking supplies over the past few years. I'll definitely check this out. Thanks!

The paper isn't quite as high a quality (I think - I'm not fussed about the paper so much as the switchability) but Staples has a line they call Arc that is exactly the same kind of disc binding (my Circa punch will punch pages that fit the Arc discs, and the Arc paper fits the Circa notebooks I have). It's pretty affordable and they sell a punch too. The covers aren't as luxurious, but if you want instant gratification you might check it out.

Hi, Dan,
Interesting stuff! I especially like Rule #4 about multitasking. I tell my clients to go ahead and do it if they crave it, but to realize they're actually working more slowly and making more mistakes.

Hi Claire! Thanks for touching upon mind mapping as an alternative to creating lists. We're big fans of John Medina's Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School. Medina's rule #10 states that "Vision trumps all senses," something that we remind ourselves of every day.

Putting this into practice, we've created a mind map outline of Medina's rules available at http://bit.ly/qk9k3l
